A switch allows the communication between different Ethernet devices as if the switch itself did not exist (generally it is said that its behaviour is “transparent”), the “unmanaged” versions are equipped with a standard configuration that cannot be modified, while the versions “managed” are configurable and have traffic prioritization mechanisms.
The Cabur Unmanaged Switches, therefore, offer a simple and advantageous solution for medium / small machines and monitoring applications with basic Ethernet functions.
Compared to normal “commercial level” devices, Cabur Industrial switches are made with much more reliable components which, combined with the type of construction, make them suitable for operating at severe industrial levels (level 3) and at temperatures between -10 to 60 ° C.
To guarantee the operation of systems with Ethernet devices and IP applications, the SWET switches use protocols based on IEEE standards to simplify the integration between the various industrial devices (IEEE 802.3 / 802.3u / 802.3x with 10 / 100M, full / half- duplex, MDI / MDIX auto-sensing RJ45 ports).
